Learn how UBA Americas services can transform your finances

UBA Americas commenced operations in New York in 1982 as a Representative Office. The bank subsequently obtained a license from the U.S Federal Reserve Board (FRB) in 1984 to operate a Federal Branch. The Parent company, United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) is incorporated in Nigeria and quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. It is the third largest bank in Nigeria, with an estimated 10% market share. It is one of the largest and most prominent banks in Africa. The UBA Group has over 20,000 employees working in 23 countries, of which 20 are African countries. As well as UBA UK in London, the UBA Group has a representative office in Paris and a branch in New York.

We are your preferred financial intermediary for business flows between Africa and North America.

We are licensed by the Federal reserve Board and regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency of the U.S (The OCC). We are therefore in a strong position to support opportunities in Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) markets for UBA customers and to facilitate business flows between Africa and North America.
